I guess these commercials run in Canada and the states. Not sure if anywhere else.

No, It is Gordie Tapp, and he was on television, for years.

He was in country Jamboree, from CH CH TV in Hamilton, but was most famous for co hosting Hee Haw with Roy Clark, and Buck Owens.
